One of the most unique and amazing things about this place are the breathtaking sunsets right up around 5pm. They are out of this world literally.  Also you may encounter red macaws flying around in pairs.

The resort provides internal transportation using electric golf carts, so you can get around the premises.  Herradura is the next door town to Jaco, which offers also many exciting things to do during the day such as: ATV tours, crocodile tours, canopy, snorkeling, etc.  Also at night there are many fine dining restaurants, Argentinan, Costa Rican, Indonesian, Chinese, Japanese, Italian, sea food is great! There are many bars and clubs if you choose to visit them. You can also do world class sport fishing at Los Suenos.
